Contribute Investing in the futures of the youth on the Northside is a task for the whole community. CCYO is offering the model, the facility and crucially the relationship of trust built up over years with successive generations of youth.

Our community needs to come together to provide many of the skills, resources, opportunities, and networks to make this a sustainable, successful, community regeneration effort.

The cost of providing skills and opportunities to youth, as CCYO is doing, must be contrasted with the costs of not doing so; and seen in that light, youth outreach work is not simply poverty reduction, or providing extension education and training, but an investment – an excellent value investment – into the future of the community.

CCYO’s programs and initiatives have resulted in:

01  Programs

Assisting more than 350 youth through specific programs

02  Guidance

Guidance and outreach support to more than 1,000 individuals

03  Financial Support

Over $1,000,000 paid in youth wages and stipends

To help us continue this important and valuable work, here are two ways in which you can invest in the northside through Community CARES Youth Outreach:

Volunteering

We are asking you to put your heart and resources into sustaining and advancing the work of the organization within your community.

Volunteer

It was interesting because we had so much responsibility and freedom. Usually if you go into a place and tell them you were a drug addict they are probably not going to hire you and they aren't going to give you resources and freedom to handle money. Since they did that, someone putting the trust in you, made you not want to take advantage of it.
